When several team members work with the same records, information can change over time. A school assignment may be updated, a responsible staff member may change, or a value may be entered incorrectly. Without a clear history, it can be difficult to understand what changed, when it happened, and who made the edit.
The new change history in Aam Digital gives users a transparent view of updates made to a record. It shows when the record was created and last updated, which user made each change, and the values before and after the edit. This makes it easier to follow how a record has developed over time without relying on notes or individual recollections.
For example, if the assigned school of a participant has changed, the history can show the previous school, the new school, and when the update was made. This can help program coordinators clarify unexpected information and support collaboration when several colleagues are responsible for maintaining the same data.
The change history is available within a given record as well as across the entire system. So admin users don’t have to check each record separately to keep track of changes.
This change log is read-only and can not be manipulated by users. It can therefore also serve as an auditable log of changes to your data, if you require this for your compliance processes.
The change history option provides a practical way to review updates and maintain accurate records during everyday case management.
